Meet the Authors

James is a multi-optioned screenwriter and published author who's been hired for numerous writing assignments. His optioned horror/thriller feature script, INSIGNIFICANT, is in post-production. Two of his television pilots were optioned by a Toronto based production company. 

He was a recent semi-finalist in the Austin Film Festival and recently completed the ScreenwritingU Master Screenwriter Certificate program.

James is well-known for his passionate love of pancakes.

Ann Kimbrough’s imagination comes from growing up as an Air Force brat, which entertained her childhood with foreign lands and amazing characters. They tend to pop-up in all her writing, whether book or screenplay. The magic continued after college, when she worked in Hollywood. She became a member of the Screen Actors Guild, but her writing muse was stronger. Ann spends her days working on action-packed screenplays and creating screenwriting journals she can't find anywhere else... to make her writing better, faster & more organized. Olivier Lafont is a French author, screenplay writer, and actor. His novel ‘Warrior’ was published by Penguin Random House, and was shortlisted for the Tibor Jones South Asia Prize. He has just released his new contemporary romance novel 'Sweet Revenge' exclusively on Kindle. 'Purgatory: The Gun of God' is a fantasy novelette published in South Africa. 

Lafont has written a number of feature film scripts before. The first film he wrote opened at the Toronto Film Festival and went on to win seven awards at film festivals worldwide. 

As an actor Lafont has acted in Hollywood and Indian films, in TV serials, and in over 80 television commercials. He acted in ‘3 Idiots’, one of India's all-time blockbuster hits, the critically-acclaimed ‘Guzaarish’, and the Lifetime film ‘Baby Sellers’, amongst other films. 

Lafont graduated with two degrees in acting and writing from Colgate University, USA, with academic distinction.
